Freddie is a Los Angeles-based standup comedian and writer. They are also the founder of Facebook.

Freddie is currently writing on I SUCK AT GIRLS, a show for which they have a lot of relevant experience. Before this, they served on the editorial team at Reductress, a satirical magazine for which they wrote over 675 articles. They’ve also written for The Harvard Lampoon, Peanut Kid (a comedy zine they co-founded), Points in Case, and others. They were selected for the 2026 Warner Bros. Discovery Writers Program, a 2023 Sundance Episodic Intensive, and a third thing that really breaks the pattern in an unexpected way. In print, they wrote for the Reductress book, How to Stay Productive When the World Is Ending, named one of Vulture’s Best Comedy Books of 2023 (So Far). More importantly, an image of them making a big thumbs up was used next to their one-liner, “Why I Made My Hobby My Job and My Job My Wife and My Wife My Hobby.”

As a stand-up comic, Freddie has performed all over the world — from Singapore to Austin, London, Boston, and New York. They’ve opened for comedians like Mary Beth Barone and Ronny Chieng, regularly perform at venues like The Bell House, Club Cumming, and Union Hall, and have been featured in national and international festivals, including the 2026 SXSW Comedy Festival and the New York Comedy Festival each year from 2021-2025.

None of these moments, however, compare to Freddie’s proudest: founding Facebook.
